vCard QR code FAQ

Should I use vCard or MeCard?

vCard carries more fields and is the safest default. MeCard makes a smaller code with fewer fields.

Why is my contact code so dense?

Every field adds data. Leave out what people do not need to keep the code easy to scan.

Is this QR code generator free?

Yes. Static QR codes are free, with no sign-up, watermark or download limit.

Do static QR codes expire?

No. The content is stored in the code itself, so it keeps working as long as the print does.

Do you see what I put in my QR code?

No. Static codes are generated in your browser; nothing you type is sent to our servers.
