Download the SVG for print shops and any large size, and test-scan the proof with a phone or two before the run.

How to use the QR code generator with logo

Put your brand in the middle of the code. Upload your logo or pick a built-in icon, and the code switches to the highest error correction level so it still scans.

  1. Enter what the code should open, such as your website address.
  2. In Design, open Logo, then upload a PNG or JPG (up to 2 MB) or choose Icon.
  3. Adjust the logo size and plate, check the scan score and download PNG or SVG.

Why a QR code with a logo still scans

Every QR code carries spare data for error correction. At the highest level, H, roughly 30% of the code can be covered or damaged and it still reads.

qrqoder moves the code to level H as soon as you add a logo, and sits the logo on a plate so its edges never blend into the pattern.

Tips for a logo that scans every time

Start at the default size. A bigger logo hides more of the code, so watch the scan score as you resize.

Use a simple mark rather than a full wordmark: a symbol stays readable at small sizes.

Keep the code dark on a light background, and test-scan the final file with two or three phones before printing.

Upload your own or use a built-in icon

Uploaded logos stay on your device: the file is read in your browser and never sent to a server.

No logo yet? Built-in icons cover food and drink, shopping, travel, social networks and more, and you can recolor both the icon and its plate.

Frequently asked questions

Is adding a logo free?

Yes. Logos and icons are free, with no watermark and no sign-up.

What logo files can I upload?

PNG or JPG up to 2 MB. A square logo on a transparent or plain background works best.

Will a logo make my QR code harder to scan?

A logo hides part of the code, so the code uses the highest error correction level to make up for it. Keep the logo at the default size or smaller, check the scan score and test-scan before printing.

Can I download the QR code with my logo as SVG?

Yes. PNG and SVG downloads both include the logo. Use SVG for print shops and large sizes.
