Printing this?

Download the SVG for print shops and any large size, and test-scan the proof with a phone or two before the run.

How to use the QR code with frame

A short call to action around the code tells people what they get when they scan. Pick a frame, write your own text and download it ready to print.

  1. Enter your content.
  2. In Design, open Frame and pick a style.
  3. Type your call to action, check the scan score and download.

Why add a frame to a QR code

A bare QR code does not say what it does. A frame with a few words, such as Scan for the menu or Join our Wi-Fi, tells people why to scan and makes the code easier to spot on a busy poster or table.

Writing a call to action that gets scanned

Say what happens: View menu, Get the PDF, Join Wi-Fi, Pay here.

Keep it to two to four words so the text stays large enough to read.

The frame sits outside the code's quiet zone, so the text never gets in the way of scanning.
